TG4040-D is a one-part, fully cured, dispensable thermal putty. The thermal conductivity is 3 W/m-k. It is designed for dispensing using standard industrial equipment and can be used to fill gaps from 0.25 – 5 mm. It is extremely soft and achieves almost 80% compression under a pressure of 5 PSI. The material does not require curing and will not undergo measurable changes when exposed to thermal cycling or ageing tests. It is commonly used in the automotive industry or to replace a number of different thickness of components on the same application. It is also commonly used in the telecom industry for large area base stations.
