Efinix's development kit helps to create a proof of concept prior to spinning a new board

Image of Efinix's Titanium Ti60 F225 Development KitWhether capturing video, aggregating sensor data, or designing for mobile or IoT applications, Efinix's Titanium Ti60 F225 development kit provides everything needed to get started quickly. Capture video with the included Raspberry Pi camera module, process it in the Ti60 FPGA, and then stream the result to the provided mini-DSI display or connect to computer USB via the USB connection on the board. The camera and DSI converter daughter cards support up to two cameras or displays, respectively. The kit also includes an I/O expansion daughter card so connection to other components is easy. All this capability is included with the highest performance, lowest power, and smallest package of any other FPGA solution.

With the purchase of the Titanium development kit, users receive access to the Efinity software with one year of software maintenance, including updates and upgrades. The Efinity software provides a complete tool flow from RTL design to bitstream generation, including synthesis, place-and-route, timing analysis, and hardware debugger with logic analyzer. It has a graphical user interface (GUI) that provides a visual way to set up projects, run the tool flow, and view results. The software also has a command-line flow and TCL command console. The software-generated bitstream file is used to configure the Trion FPGA on the development board with a custom design.

  • 256 Mbit HyperRAM memory with x16 bits, 200 MHz maximum clock rate, and up to 400 Mbps double-data rate
  • SPI NOR Flash memory
  • Three MIPI, LVDS, and GPIO high-speed connectors to attach the daughter cards included in the kit or custom daughter cards
  • Micro-SD card slot
  • USB v3.0 interface and Type-C connector
  • USB Type-C connector for programming the flash or Ti60 FPGA using the Efinity® software
  • Two RGB LEDs, four user pushbutton switches, and two user DIP switches
  • 25 MHz, 33.3333 MHz, and 74.25 MHz oscillators for PLL input
  • 12.0 V power supply connector
