Hands-On with Industry 4.0 Using the Raspberry Pi and the Arduino Platforms – Day 1

Industry 4.0, the Industrial Internet of Things, permeates manufacturing facilities and industrial complexes emphasizing data. Automated systems provide data on industrial machines’ mechanical and electrical system behaviors using sensors and embedded microcontrollers. In this first-day session, participants will learn about Industry 4.0 wireless data transmission through a hands-on activity using an Arduino Uno and an ESP8266 WiFi Shield.
