Schaffner RT chokes provide common-mode EMI mitigation of 1-phase, DC, and 3-phase currents at 25 A and 85 A

Image of TE-Schaffner 25 A/85 A RT Chokes Schaffner 25 A and 85 A common-mode RT chokes provide excellent attenuation performance for 1-phase, DC, and 3-phase applications. They are typically used in power modules for electric vehicle infrastructure (EVI) up to 60 kW at 85 A. In these power modules, the chokes mitigate EMI on the grid side like an AC choke and also on the battery side like a DC choke. Other applications include heat pumps, drives, and industrial machinery, where high-current EMI mitigation on a PCB is necessary. This choke portfolio extension fills a gap in the series at 25 A and extends the current rating up to 85 A.
