LQ Series General Power Relays

Panasonic LQ series general power relays are offered in three different types to support a wide range of applications: standard, inrush/reinforced insulation, and pin-in-paste/reflow solder-compatible. All Panasonic LQ series relays maintain the same dimensions and terminal pitch, allowing for direct replacement without any changes to the existing PCB design.

Supporting 10 A loads and available in a 1 Form A or 1 Form C contact arrangement, the standard type offers a variety of rated coil voltages with the option for Class B or Class F coil insulation.

The inrush/reinforced insulation type is designed for handling inductive motor loads, offers a UL TV-3 rating suitable for ½ HP at 250 V_AC high inrush load, and has reinforced insulation for protection against high electrical shock. This type is also suitable for loads up to 8 A/277 V_AC.

The pin-in-paste/reflow solder-compatible type supports a 12 A carry current while maintaining a compact package size, and it is compliant with halogen-free requirements. It has the potential to significantly improve production efficiency by reducing labor and equipment costs by up to 80%. The pin-in-paste feature enables this by combining reflow and wave soldering into a single streamlined process, effectively minimizing overall production expenses when compared with other relays in the market.
