Orbel's BeCu gaskets are available in various finishes, mounting methods, and types
Orbel provides a variety of finger-stock profiles, modified finger stocks, contact strips, contact rings, and metal connector gaskets. The standard strips are customizable to user specifications including cutting, piercing, or removing fingers.
Orbel manages the secondary operations, which include plating and finishing. As a true engineering and production partner, Orbel specializes in fully customizable BeCu gaskets with an electroplate finish that fits application needs. Orbel will ensure the end product is a perfect solution for design concepts or custom gasket development.
Orbel BeCu finger-stock gaskets provide one of the industry's highest EMI/RFI shielding effectiveness. They are ideal for repeated opening and closing applications requiring high attenuation performance and mechanical strength. These gaskets are available in slot-mount, adhesive-mount, twist (right-angle, clip-on, or strip), no-snag, clip-on, large enclosures, EMI (contact strips or female/male contact rings), and D-sub connector shields.
- In-house electroplating in a variety of finishes:
- Bright: no plating
- Nickel: dull, bright, or electroless
- Zinc: no chromate, clear chromate, or yellow chromate
- Tin: bright or matte
- Gold: hard
- Silver: semi-bright
- >100 standard configurations
- Gaskets are available in standard strip lengths or 25' coils
- Mounting methods: adhesive tape, clip-on, slot-mount, riveted, or soldered
- Mega soft reduces compression forces and increases the life cycle
