CompactDAQ Temp Measurement Modules

NI’s C series temperature input modules measure signals from temperature sensors such as thermocouples and resistance temperature detectors (RTDs). These products are used to acquire, condition, and digitize signals in varied temperature ranges and environments. Modules must be used in a CompactDAQ chassis.

The modules, in a CompactDAQ Chassis, work with NI's free NI-DAQmx driver. Users can take advantage of NI's documentation and example programs to begin programming temperature tests in a variety of programming languages, including FlexLogger, LabVIEW, Python, C, or C#.NET.

Module considerations

• Confirm that the measurement input range of the module is larger than the sensor range
• Consider how often data is needed (sample rate)
• Can the sensor be directly connected to the module, or is an accessory needed?
• Does the sensor need any external excitation? (Some modules provide excitation for one or two sensors)
