MX25R/MX25S Series Serial NOR Flash
Macronix NOR Flash offers power savings and small form factors for portable and space-saving designs
The Macronix MX25R and MX25S series feature 1.2 V (core and I/O voltage) and ultra-low power consumption (0.8 mA ICC_active, 0.025 μA ICC_dpd), capable of more than 80% power savings compared to traditional 1.8 V or 3 V products. By using these low-power capabilities, the MX25S products can also extend the battery life on portable devices.
The MX25R series supports a wide voltage range (1.65 V to 3.6 V core and I/O voltage), ultra-low power capabilities, and small form factor options.
The MX25S and MX25R products support a standard serial NOR Flash memory interface, offering the same footprint and command set as traditional products. Offered in small form factor packages: USON, WLCSP, and KGD (Known Good Die).
The MX25S is available in 16 Mbit, 64 Mbit, and 256 Mbit densities. The MX25R series is available in densities from 512 Kbit up to 64 Mbit.
