9288-000 Series Hermaphroditic Connectors

KYOCERA AVX 9288-000 series hermaphroditic connectors feature two-piece wire-to-wire and wire-to-board solutions, utilizing their proven Poke-Home technology for easy wire installation in the field.

Wire-to-wire termination is performed using two identical parts mating with each other, resulting in only one part number on the bill of materials. Wire-to-board connection is accomplished with the same part as with wire-to-wire but involves mating to an SMT version soldered to the PCB.

The 9288-000 connectors feature plastic latches for good mechanical retention. They are available in two to four positions with a wire gauge range of 16 AWG to 18 AWG, solid or stranded wires, on a 5-mm pitch. Housing color options are available in either orange or white, and the plating is tin over nickel.
