Harwin's connector series offers maximum performance in a miniature package

Image of Harwin's Gecko SL 1.25mm Pitch ConnectorsHarwin's Gecko-SL range delivers high reliability with a smaller footprint and increased design flexibility. These connectors are an ideal choice for SWaP-C optimization (size, weight, power, and cost). They are up to 45% smaller and up to 75% lighter than existing industry-standard equivalents and Micro-D. Capable of withstanding extremes of shock, vibration, and temperature. Ruggedized screw-locks are made from stainless steel to ensure a strong and secure connection. The mate-before-lock design allows for fast and easy assembly in-house and in the field.

This connector series is available in a wide variety of configurations including cable-to-board, board-to-board, and cable-to-cable options in pin counts of up to 50. Recent additions to the range include horizontal male connectors and reverse-fix hardware options. Lightweight aluminum hoods deliver enhanced electrical continuity, cable protection, and effective EMI/RFI shielding. Pre-wired contacts are available for prototyping and pre-production.

  • 2.8 A per contact in isolation and 2.0 A all contacts simultaneously
  • Four-finger beryllium copper contact design for high reliability
  • Durability: 1,000 operations
  • Operational temperature: -65°C to +150°C
  • Withstand extreme shock (100 G, 6 ms) and vibration (20 G, 6 hrs)
  • Moldings: glass-filled thermoplastic UL94V-0 (halogen and red phosphorus-free)
  • Low outgassing materials
  • Mate-before-lock stainless-steel jackscrews
  • Three polarizing points to prevent mismating
  • Potting wall feature
  • No. 1 position identified on molding
  • Metal backshell available to shield cable assemblies
  • Flexible mating hardware options
