The polymer system creates an electrical pathway between the anodic oxide layer and the cathode through a mechanical separator paper, providing low ESR through a highly conductive polymer (PEDOT/PSS). The A7C5 winding is impregnated with a liquid electrolyte that translates to the self-healing features of the capacitor. Mechanically robust, the A7C5 is suitable for mobile and automotive installations with operation up to +150°C.
