SR5E1E7 Stellar Electrification MCUs

STMicroelectronics' SR5 E1 line automotive MCU, based on Arm® Cortex®-M7 core, is designed to control the fast-growing market of electrification applications. The SR5E1E7 MCU meets the enhanced digital control and high-performance analog requested by wide bandgap power technologies, silicon carbide and GAN, from power conversion applications such as onboard chargers (OBC) and DC/DC converters as well as advanced motor control like traction inverter applications. The SR5E1E7 also offers superior real-time and safe performance with the highest ASIL-D capability, security cryptographic services (HSM), and high-efficiency over-the-air (OTA) reprogramming capability.

• Two Cortex-M7 cores with a frequency of 300 MHz each, with the possibility to run in lockstep to cover ASIL-D applications
• Outstanding performance to cover the OBC, DC/DC converter, and traction inverter applications thanks to SAR and sigma-delta ADCs, high-resolution timers, ensuring fast sensing and actuation to reach high power efficiency and an accurate system control
• Embedded hardware security module (HSM) ensures robust in-vehicle network protection and secure software OTA updates against cyberattacks
