The Particle PHN2MEA Photon 2 development board delivers professional-grade performance at an affordable price. Equipped with dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), BLE 5.3, and an Arm® Cortex®-M33 CPU, it offers 3 MB of RAM, 2 MB of Flash, and excellent security with Arm TrustZone. Its Feather form factor makes prototyping simple, and pre-certifications (FCC, IC, and CE) speed up the path to market.
Start developing with the Photon 2 and access Particle’s IoT Platform-as-a-Service, which supports up to 100 devices. With powerful developer tools — including CLIs, IDEs, APIs, SDKs, and tested firmware libraries — users will be set up for rapid development and seamless device integration.
While optimized for prototyping, the Photon 2 allows for easy scaling with the production-grade P2 Wi-Fi module. Port firmware using Particle’s device OS for a smooth transition from the Photon 2 to the P2, cutting down on bill-of-materials and certification costs.
Powered by Particle’s full IoT Platform-as-a-Service, the Photon 2 includes cloud connectivity, OTA updates, and device management tools, providing everything needed for reliable IoT product development.
