The Advantech AOM-2721 is the first Qualcomm QCS6490-based release from their Arm® Computing team. It is engineered to drive next-generation medical HMIs, robotics, drones, and edge AI solutions. This powerful OSM 1.1 COM combines up to eight Arm v8 Cortex® cores, an Andreo GPU 643 graphics engine, and a high-performance 12 TOPS NPU for advanced AI workloads. Supporting LPDDR5 memory and a rich set of interfaces, including PCIe® Gen 3, USB 3.2, MIPI-CSI, and multiple display outputs (DP, eDP, MIPI-DSI), the AOM-2721 simplifies system integration and accelerates time-to-market. Paired with an Advantech OSM carrier board, it offers reference schematics, support for Windows and Ubuntu, and robust design utilities that empower developers to rapidly deploy cutting-edge, intelligent edge devices.
